Chuni Gala started Gala & Associates, Inc., a full service Engineering / Architectural firm located in Beverly Hills, MI  in 1987, with a staff of three, utilizing $10,000 from savings and borrowed office space and equipment.  Twenty Nine years later, Gala has grown to a staff of 60+, has offices in Detroit, MI; Atlanta, GA; Greenville, SC; Mexico City, Mexico; Mumbai, India and Sao Paolo, Brazil. 
Owning his own business was always Chuni Gala’s dream.  In 1967, Gala came to the U.S. from India to attend graduate school in New York.  Since that time, he has married raised 2 children & built a business with a strong reputation as one of the top Engineering providers in the Automotive / Industrial field. 
Early on, Chuni began building relationships with the various Plant Engineers & Vehicle Operations staff to establish relationships & determine the best way to economically and efficiently complete jobs.  Gala also pursued relationships with Process, Machinery and Tooling & General Building Contractors learning their processes, building partnerships & taking a lead role in creating a chain between Building, conveyor & Process. 
Gala attributes his company’s success on his focus on personal attention to the customer. Building strong relationships has made Gala & Associates a successful organization whose success is built on repeat business.  This is maintained by forming partnerships with 1st tier suppliers; commitment to training and education; maintaining current technology in software, equipment & operations; creating mentoring relationships with various contractors & providing services at a competitive rate – within  budget & on time.

of Excellence for Ford Dearborn Assembly Paint Shop, Dearborn, MI  Nominated M.M.B.D.C. Top Five Suppliers of the Year 1998

 Oversaw Construction of Jain Hindu Temple in Farmington Hills, MI  (one of 
only four in the U.S.) 
 Received Ford Q1 Award – 1996 
 Co-Founded Stenco Construction Company – 1997 
 Co-founded Tri-Tec, LLC – 1999
