About ACE Awards

Boasting an attendance of 700, the ACE Awards is one of the most prestigious business events that takes place annually in our state where the top leaders, executives, and visionaries in the region gather to celebrate the people who are making significant contributions to minority supplier development. At this event, minority business enterprises (MBEs) are honored for their excellent service in the past year as well as corporate members for their commitment to supplier diversity and supporting minority-owned businesses through purchasing contracts.

The evening begins with a General Reception from 4:00pm – 5:30pm, a VIP Reception from 4:30pm – 5:30pm. The Dinner and Awards Presentation begins at 6:00pm and the night closes with dessert and networking afterglow immediately following the program at 8:00pm – 10:00pm.

Hall of Fame Ceremony

MMSDC is the home of the Michigan Minority Business Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame was designed to celebrate iconic Michiganders for
the indelible imprint they’ve made on the state of minority business.This year’s inductees are Hank Aguirre, Founder of Mexican Industries, and Ron Hall, Sr., former President of MMSDC and Chairman of Bridgewater Interiors.
